Kicking things off, the RLCS Fall Major was incredibly successful. Indeed, revealing a new format to the competition, there are more Majors to look forward to this season. Accordingly, the RLCS Winter Split 2023 is starting soon – read on to learn everything you need to know!
RLCS Winter Split 2023 – Coming Later This Month
Moving forward, each Split will be just like the Fall Split.
Just like the previous event, each regional RLCS League kicks off with regional competition, through three events:
- Open Winter
- Cup Winter
- Winter Invitational
Throughout, teams will be performing as well as possible to cement their spots to make it to the Winter Major, hosted at DreamHack San DIego. Here’s how soon all the action kicks off for all the regions:
- Asia-Pacific (APAC) – January 28-29th
- Europe (EU), South America (SAM) and Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) – January 27-29th
- Middle East and North Africa (MENA) – February 2-4th
- North America (NA) and Oceania (OCE) – February 3-5th
Moving forward, the Winter Cups will take place in the second week of February, followed by the Winter Invitationals. For specific dates for each region visit the original press release here. The press release also offers details regarding format.
In conclusion, the main event, the RLCS Winter Major will take place between 6-9th Apri.
