With the New Year finally here, many tend to announce their new year resolutions. Rogue however, have decided to rebrand and convey a new look for 2021 and the years to come. Here is their rebrand:
Rogue rebrand
Rogue’s new look is a simplistic version of what they used to have, making it look modern and cleaner, while keeping the iconic hooded figure. As described by Anna Baumann, Executive Vice President of Esports for Rogue, this was the perfect opportunity for them to reimagine what Rogue is supposed to look like, in a visual update.
Rogue had an excellent 2020, all things considered. Especially with their League of Legends team, they managed to place 5th in the Spring Split, and 3rd in the Summer Split. Resulting in them qualifying for Worlds, but ultimately getting eliminated due to the strength of teams in their group. Despite their early exit from the World Championship, this was still a huge achievement for an organization like Rogue.
Here are some comments from Rogue’s staff about the rebrand:
We’ve seen multiple rebrands in the past few months, and Rogue has surprisingly done it better than most, as we’ve seen from all their staff and fans. One can only hope that Rogue continues to do well, and has more success in 2021.
