The Stage 2 Masters champions Sentinels have reportedly acquired TenZ from Cloud9. Here is their announcement:
Sentinels reportedly acquired TenZ from Cloud9 – What happened?
According to a report by Kevin Hitt of the Esports Observer, Sentinels have bought out Tyson “TenZ” Ngo with a 7-figure deal ($1.25M). TenZ was loaned out to Sentinels back in March when they needed a desperate replacement for the VCT Stage 1 Masters event. This was because Sinatraa stepped down from the lineup due to sexual allegations between him and his ex-girlfriend. This was a huge opportunity for both Sentinels and TenZ, and to everyone’s surprise it worked out. With the limited practice they had together, Sentinels came out as Champions during the Stage 1 Masters. With this victory, Sentinels had no choice but to extend the loan.

It was obviously a big question after TenZ and his teammates won the biggest VALORANT event to date. It would have been a real shame if all their hard work and success went to nothing due to contractual limitations.
What’s next for Sentinels?
The next step for the Sentinels roster is as Shahzam said. Work hard in the upcoming months and seal the deal by winning the VALORANT Champions event at the end of the year. It’s certainly not going to be an easy way forward, but with what the team has achieved so far, it’s definitely possible.
