With the VCT NA Challenger competition underway, changes are eveywhere. However, nobody expected this one. Accordingly, Sentinels VALORANT Coach Rawkus is leaving the roster. Read on as we discuss this surprising change.
Sentinels VALORANT Coach Rawkus – Looking to Play
Indeed, for those unaware, Sentinels are one of the most popular VALORANT organizations in the region and perhaps in the world. Coached by the likes of Shane “Rawkus” Flaherty since November, news has it that this is no longer the case.
Specifically, the coach has actually returned to FaZe Clan. Initially, last year, the coach joined Sentinels on loan after FaZe failed to make it far in the region. Indeed, this was not a permanent change unless an agreement was to be reached.
However, since Sentinels has not extended the contract, the coach is now a free agent.
Yet, he’s not looking to coach. Instead, he’s also considering to get onto rosters and compete once again to try and be the best. Although on FaZe, he’s looking elsewhere to compete:
I’m currently back on FaZe but LFT as a player, Jett/Sova/Smokes/Sentinel is what I’m comfortable with but willing to flex anything, I feel I’ve only gotten better since taking a break, being able to change environments and watching them play has made me see the game in a completely new perspective and I’m extremely excited to return.
