As we previewed the event earlier, the Six August 2020 Major Europe event just concluded. The competitive Rainbow Six Siege event saw the top 4 teams in the continent battle it out online. Read on to see who came out on top!
Running through the weekend of August 21-23rd, a whopping $125,000 was on the line. Accordingly, from the double elimination bracket, here’s how the standings finished:
Indeed, our predictions for the event didn’t hold up. Naturally, this is due to BDS Esports denying everyone’s expectations while Rogue slumped. Actually, both BDS Esports and Rogue lost their semifinal match-ups. Accordingly, BDS Esports had to run through the remainder of the competition in the Lower Bracket.
The event all boiled down to a heart-racing series between G2 Esports and BDS Esports. Fighting until the last map, BDS clearly demonstrated an incredible hunger to win the Six August 2020 Major Europe.
Did anybody predict this? It’s likely that the entire community is shocked at the french team’s resilience. They’ll happily take their prize, including Six Invitational Points too.
