As we previewed the North American iteration of the event, now we may shift our gaze to Europe. Accordingly, the Six August Major Europe 2020 is only one week away and we’ve got all the details. Read on to learn everything you need to know!
Posting their own event guide, Ubisoft is hosting the tournament from the 21st to the 23rd August. $125,000 is on the line for the four teams invited. Notably, these are the four best teams in the region. All of which have qualified through the European League Stage 1:
- Rogue
- BDS Esports
- G2 Esports
- Virtus.pro
Apart from the money, SI points are also on the line which are handy for qualifying for the Six Invitational at the end of the season. The online event will consist of a simple double-elimination bracket.
The event looks to determine the top-dog of Europe. For predictions, many see the tournament as a grudge match between Rogue and BDS Esports. In the season, a map difference of one separated them for first place, favouring Rogue. All the action will be available on YouTube for Six August Major Europe 2020 event.
