Six Invitational 2021 – Ubisoft Releases all the Details

One of the largest esports event of the calendar this year was none other than the Six Invitational. Accordingly, it was one of our top 5 esports events of the year. Bearing that in mind, we’re highly excited for next year’s Six Invitational. Finally, Ubisoft has released all the details pertaining to the Six Invitational 2021!

So let’s dive right into it. Next year’s iteration serves as the fifth year for the notable event, to take place in Europe in February 2021. Yes, the event will be a LAN event following all the measures, with no audience present. The event will mark a new season of competitive Rainbow Six Siege too.

Format and Dates – Unavailable

Participants for the Six Invitational 2021

Breaking the seal from last year, a record breaking 20 teams will be competing at next year’s Six Invitational 2021. Bearing this in mind, a total of 16 teams have already qualified through Global Points standings. Here they are according to placement:

  • (900 points) – BDS Esport, Team SoloMid, Giants Gaming, Cloud0
  • (840 points) – Team Liquid, DarkZero Esports, Ninjas in Pyjamas
  • (720 points) – Spacestation Gaming
  • (665 points) – Team oNe eSports
  • (660 points) – Virtus.pro, Wildcard Gaming
  • (625 points) – Team Empire
  • (570 points) – FaZe Clan
  • (550 points) – Oxygen Esports
  • (530 points) – G2 Esports
  • (455 points) – mibr

  • Asia Pacific Qualifier – CYCLOPS athlete gaming
  • European Qualifier – Mkers
  • North American Qualifier – Altiora
  • Latin American Qualifier – 7-10th January

Why are we excited? That’s because the Six Invitational 2020 was one of the top esports events of this year- with a peak viewership of 303,155. Can the Six Invitational 2021 follow up? Yes, despite the lack of a live crowd, we believe it can.

And you can bet your bottom dollar that we’ll be offering all of the necessary coverage as we draw nearer.
