Six Invitational 2022 Recap – North America is Back
Yes, you heard that right, TSM have taken North America to the very top of competitive Rainbow Six Siege as your international champions!
Yet, the journey wasn’t so smooth to get here. Making it through via a qualifier, and not even Global Standings, they were underdogs from the start.
From the beginning, they showed fight. Seeded into Group C, they managed to sit in the middle f the pack with a 2-0-1-1 record. Seeded into the first round of the Winner Bracket, they then took care of business:
- TSM vs Ninjas in Pyjamas (2-0)
- FURIA vs TSM (1-2)
- TSM vs Team Liquid (2-0)
Until they lost to Team Empire in a 2-1 fashion. Bouncing back by sweeping the favourites in FaZe Clan, they rematched Team Empire in the Grand Final.
Here, they faced their past enemies and took them to four maps, winning 3-1.
With such an incredible storyline, the Six Invitational was simply an epic event – we can’t wait for a new season of competitive Rainbow Six Siege.
