Unlike most other esports, competitive Rainbow Six Siege concludes each year sometime in late January and February. Accordingly, the Six Invitational 2023 will mark another season, crowning another world championship. Bearing this in mind, let’s dive into the details!
Six Invitational 2023 – Quick Facts Below
Organized by Ubisoft, the venue for the event has been confirmed to be Montreal (Place Bell). Indeed, the community is very familiar with this venue. Here are some other details:
- Date: 7th to 19th February 2023
- Teams: 20 international teams
- Prize: TBD
So, how will 20 teams be decided? Specifically, the Global Standings will be used. For those unaware, teams are earning points through performing in regional and international tournaments.
Here, only the top 16 will qualify directly for the event. Then, one team from each region qualifies – these are Asia Pacific, Europe, North America and Latin America!
Anyways, once qualified, teams will fight through a specific format. Indeed, this will involve a single round robin followed by a double elimination bracket.
However, until the event, there is still plenty of time. Later on in November there’ll be the Jonkoping Major as a final stand for teams.
