Moving on into the LEC season next year, the stakes are rising. Even though the European region didn’t do too well at Worlds last year, new favourites are always rising. Accordingly, the newly announced SK Gaming Roster 2022 has turned heads and we’re ready to discuss it.
SK Gaming Roster 2022 – Breaking Through?
Like many teams that didn’t make Worlds, the SK Gaming team went through a tonne of changes ever since August. Accordingly, the majority of the team wa let go of, with the aim of rebuilding for the future.
Bearing this in mind, the following is the roster for the upcoming season:
- Janik “Jenax” Bartels – Top
- Erberk “Gilius” Demir – Jungle
- Daniel “Sertuss” Gamani – Mid
- Jean “Jezu” Massol – Bot
- Erik “Treatz” Wessen – Support
What’s the goal here? It’s clear that over the past two years, SK Gaming has struggled to make an impact on the region. Indeed, making it to the podium for a regional event would be a success for this upcoming season.
Specifically, they’ll want to improve on their history:
- 9th @ LEC Summer 2021
- 6th @ LEC Spring 2021
- 6th @ LEC Summer 2020
- 9th @ LEC Spring 2020
Let’s see if they can break through their dry run.
