It’s been a while since we’ve visited the SMITE Pro League 2020. Indeed, neck-deep into Phase 2, the action is heating up as teams do their best to place well. Accordingly, one match could be the difference in qualifying for the Phase 2 Playoffs. Read on as we take a look at the final month!
As a reminder, the eight invited teams gathered on the 24th July to begin the event. To sort out a top 6, a lengthy Triple Round Robin format was consulted with BO3 matches. With weekly games, we’re now up to week 11.
Here is how the standings look as of right now:
From the leaderboard, it’s clear that there are three sections to group.
- Contesting leaders – Ghost Gaming and Spacestation Gaming
- Middle of the Pack – Pittsburgh Knights, Sanguine Esports and Radiance
- Bottom End Avoiding Relegation – Renegades, eUnited and Obey Alliance
The SMITE Pro League 2020 has enjoyed some healthy variation across the season too – patch notes and roster changes have kept things fresh. The remaining weeks look to shake things up considerably: especially the confrontation between Spacestation Gaming and Ghost Gaming in Week 13.
