The inaugural season of the SMITE Pro League, or SPL, is finally back. Accordingly, SMITE Pro League Phase 2 kicked off on the 24th July. After one week of action, we’ll be reviewing the scores. Also, we’ll discuss all the exciting action left in the season!
Thanks to the mid-season patch, a meta shift has successfully been introduced. In response, gameplay and in-game character selection has varied due to this. In terms of schedule, all matches are viewable here with in-depth results.
With that being said, let’s draw our attention to the outcome. Below are the standings of the SMITE Pro League Phase 2 so far:
All in all, the standings retain a similar look to how Phase 1 concluded. eUnited and Obey Alliance remain the weakest teams initially, while Ghost Gaming managed to win both matches. On the other hand, the community is surprised with Radiance who maintain their form from Phase 1 Playoffs.
However, all eyes are on Sanguine Esports. After finishing first in Phase 1, they faltered at Playoffs with a disappointing 3-4th.
With strong viewership and diversified gameplay, the SMITE Pro League looks to fulfil expectations. The season runs until November 1st and is viewable on Twitch.
