The last time we looked at the Smite Pro League was during Week 4. Back then, three teams stacked up evenly for the leadership race. However, since then, the standings have shuffled up. Here’s a small recap for Smite Pro League Phase 2 Week 5!
Let’s jump straight into the scores for Week 5:
As we previewed, the main match of the week would be that between Ghost Gaming and Radiance. Nobody expected the dominant showing by Radiance as a 2-0 took place. In claiming the match, Radiance are in first place, though Spacestation Gaming are a game behind.
Accordingly, here are the current standings:
With Smite Pro League Phase 2 Week 5 done and dusted, let’s turn to Week 6 to see what we can expect. For the most part, the matches are less dramatic. Personally, my eyes would be on Sanguine taking on Renegades – a match which will decide the middle of the standings. Sanguine still need to show the same punch they were packing last season.
Meanwhile, a match-up between Pittsburgh Knights and Renegades has similar repercussions. The middle of the standings looks to shake up next week.
