A few weeks ago we covered a topic regarding Forev and T1 parting ways. However, just now, T1 have just announced that they will be adding Sam_H to their Dota 2 roster in his stead. Here is their announcement:
Here below is the complete T1 Dota 2 roster after the recent addition:
- Galvin “Meracle” Kang Jian Wen
- Muhammad “inYourdreaM” Rizky
- Samson “Sam_H” Hidalgo
- Tri “Jhocam” Kuncoro
- Wilson “Poloson” Koh Chin Wei
T1 announce Sam_H as new 5th for Dota 2 team – Who is Sam_H?
25 year old Samson “Sam_H” Hidalgo is a Filipino professional Dota 2 player who has been playing since early 2015. He has played under numerous teams and organizations, some of them being: TNC Pro Team, DeToNator, Lowkey Esports, and most recently, Neon Esports (As a Trial). Sam_H has an approximate total of $509,518 in esports earnings, and is looking to increase that number under the T1 banner.
Here are some of his best achievements:
- 1st in World Electronic Sports Games 2016 – 15th January 2017 – $800,000
- 7th-8th in The International 2016 – 11th August 2016 – $519,262
- 9th-12th in The International 2017 – 9th August 2017 – $370,319
What’s next for this T1 Dota 2 roster?
T1 will be playing in the ESL One Thailand 2020: Asia tomorrow, alongside other top teams. It will definitely be challenging for them due to their limited practice with their recent roster change. However we will just have to hope that T1 adapts quickly to their newest addition in the offlaner role in order for them to get solid results.
