This morning, T1 has announced that they are parting ways with their current PUBG Mobile roster. This is their announcement:
T1 parting ways with PUBG Mobile roster – Why?
In their statement, T1 are not clear as to what made the decision clear to disband the roster. However, if we had to look at the squad in recent competitions, we can conclude that the team did not have the best results, especially for a team as prestigious as T1. Here are some of their latest placings:
- 11th at the Peacekeeper Elite Championship 2020 – 15th November 2020 – $22,700
- 5th at the PUBG Mobile Street Challenge 2020: 2nd Half – 18th October 2020 – $1,313
- 9th at Ultimate Warrior Showdown 2020 – 2nd October 2020 – $0
- 7th at the PUBG Mobile World League 2020 – Season 0: East – 9th August 2020 – $9,000
With not even a single top 3 placement in the past few events they’ve had, we can be certain that this was the main reason for the squad’s departure.
T1 are parting ways with the following roster:
Players:
- Kim “Missile“ Joon Soo
- Beak “YEONJUN” Yeon Jun
- Han “ZZP” Jung Wook
- Jeon “Sayden“ Min Jae
- Pado
Coach:
- Janchi
What’s next for T1?
We’re sure that T1 would not like to step away from PUBG Mobile completely. The next step for T1 is to analyze the next step forward in getting a championship winning team, to start getting some results on the board.
