This past weekend we saw Team BDS win the RLCS X Spring Europe Regional Event 1. They took down some of the best teams in Europe in order to be crowned champions. This is how it all went down:

Team BDS win RLCS X Spring Europe Regional Event 1 – How did they do it?
At the beginning of the tournament BDS was placed in group A. In their group, they were up against a pretty solid amount of strong teams, most notably: Team Queso, Galaxy Racer, and Aether. Ultimately Team BDS was better and placed 1st with a 4-0 scoreline.
With their excellent results in the group stage, they placed into the winners quarterfinals in the knockout gauntlet. Here they played versus Guild Esports and won 3-0 to qualify to the playoffs.
In the Quarterfinals they met with White Demons, and got an easy 4-0 win. Giants Gaming was their next opponent, and here Team BDS got another solid performance, winning the series 4-2 to get into the Grand Finals.
Grand Finals
They were up against Team Vitality in the best of 7 of the Grand Finals. BDS kicked it all off with 2 wins, followed closely by 2 wins on Team Vitality’s side. However Team BDS was stronger in all aspects, and won the final two matches 3-2, and 5-1, to win the series and the event.
