Team Envy win Lamborghini Open Event – How did they do it?

Group Stage

They started it all by topping their group in group C with a 4-0 scoreline. They won matches versus teams like Ostyn, Ghost Gaming, Stromboli, as well as Shopify Rebellion. By placing top 2 in their group, Envy got a spot in the knockout gauntlet, and their first opponent was Charlotte Phoenix. They were no obstacle for Team Envy, as the series finished 3-0 in favour of Turbopolsa and his teammates. With this win they qualified to the main playoffs stage.

Playoffs

Their first match in the playoffs was a rematch against Ghost Gaming. Here Team Envy played with their 100% performance, winning the series 4-0. Spacestation Gaming was next, and they were the only team to give Envy a challenge so far. Despite such a strong performance from them, Envy were still the victors as they won the series 4-3.

Grand Finals

In the meantime, NRG were climbing their way through the bracket as well. They beat Rogue in the Quarterfinals and Oxygen Esports in the Semifinals to get into the Grand Finals versus Envy. This final best of 7 series went the distance, as all matches were played and it was all down to the wire. At first, matches went back and forth, starting with NRG, then continuing with Envy, but eventually it was Team Envy to come out with the victory. Here is how it ended:
