American Esports organization Team Liquid have announced that they are adding Scoped to their Fortnite team. Here is their announcement:
Team Liquid Adding Scoped to Fortnite team – Who is he?
Scoped is an up and coming 17-year-old Fortnite professional player from North America. He started competing in Fortnite competitions during 2019, and despite his great results, he never represented any esports organisation in Fortnite. He’s shaken up the North American rankings drastically in 2020, and continues to do so in 2021. Over the course of his 3 years competing in the battle royale, he has achieved an approximate total of $46,450 in esports earnings!
Here are some of his best achievements in Fortnite:
- 6th in FNCS Chapter 2 Season 2 Grand Finals NA East – 24th May 2020 – $23,000
- 4th at FNCS Chapter 2 Season 2 Invitational Week 2 NA East – 17th May 2020 – $8,250
- 1st at Fortnite Cash Cups: Chapter 2 Season 2 Week 2 NA East – $2,600
2 weeks ago, Team Liquid announced the departure of 2 of their players, Alex “Fiber” Bonetello, and River “Riversan” Handley. Another departure that occurred was when Cented got poached by FaZe Clan, leaving the Team Liquid Fortnite with only a single member, Stretch.
What’s next?
Now what’s next is for Team Liquid to bring on a couple of other players to refill this Fortnite lineup. Team Liquid have continuously shown their interest in Fortnite competition, and will probably continue to support it till the esport dies.
