With the closing stages approaching, Team Liquid and Furia managed to reach the Upper Bracket Finals in the CS_Summit 8 event. Here is how they did it:

Team Liquid
Liquid started it all with a 2-1 win versus Bad news Bears in the group stage. Then, they played against Extra Salt, which unfortunately gave them a hard time in their best of 3 series, and lost 2-1. They then played out the decider match against Extremum, and won 2-1 to confirm their spot in the playoffs.
In the playoffs, they played versus the Brazilian paiN gaming first. Team Liquid performed flawlessly, and won both maps, (Nuke 16-7, Dust II 16-13). These wins got Team Liquid to win the series and get into the Upper Bracket Final.
FURIA
Furia had a very similar journey through the event. Much like Team Liquid, the Brazilian squad placed 2nd in the group stage, winning matches against Evil Geniuses and O PLANO.
With this, they got their playoff bracket seed, and came up against Extra Salt, a team that took down Liquid in the group stage. Furia won the first map (Nuke) 16-13, ES won Inferno 16-12, and to finish it all, Furia were victorious on Train (16-12).
Upcoming match-ups
Now they face off each other in the upper bracket final. It is set to play out on the 28th of May at 23:30 CEST. This event consists of a lot of RMR points, and will have a heavy impact on whoever gets to make it in the Major. The match will stream on the official BTSCSGO twitch channel here.
