Team Liquid have just announced that they will be signing Ronaky to their recently acquired Rocket League team. Here is their announcement:
Team Liquid signing Ronaky to Rocket League team – Why?
It’s fair to say that Team Liquid has not been achieving the best results lately. And while it’s not fair to blame it all on one player, the team just needed new blood overall. Ronaky has played with Speed in the past, when they were playing under the Triple Trouble banner. Together, the duo participated in the Rocket Baguette: The Play event and managed to win it. Ronaky has had quite a great career in Rocket league so far, here are some of his best results:
- 3rd-4th – RLCS Season 9 – Europe – 29th March 2020 – $42,897.36
- 4th – RLCS Season 7 – Europe – 12th May 2019 – $26,531.25
- 6th – RLCS Season 8 – Europe – 17th November 2019 – $23,531.25
Was Ronaky their only signing?
No, alongside Ronaky, Team Liquid have opted to sign former competitive player Remkoe as their new coach. Remkoe started competing back in late 2015, and since then he has impacted the competitive Rocket League community in unimaginable ways. His most memorable moments were with team “We Dem Girlz” as with that team they won the 2018 Eleague Rocket League cup, as well as placed 3rd in the Season 6 Finals.
Ronaky and Remkoe will definitely be impactful assets to this Team Liquid roster, and we can’t wait to see their performance in their upcoming events.
