Accordingly, with everything going crazy for CS:GO a t the PGL Stockholm Major, some teams simply aren’t making the cut. Indeed, one such team is Team Spirit. After being eliminated, the organization went public with some news. Indeed, Team Spirit CS:GO plans to start new this November!
Team Spirit CS:GO – A Fresh Start
First, let’s take a look at the current roster which will be let go of:
- Vikto “somedieyoung” Orudshev
- Leonid “chopper” Vishnyakov
- Nikolay “mir” Bityukov
- Boris “magixx” Vorobjev
- Abdulkhalik “degster” Gasanov
- Nikolay “Certus” Poluyanov
Indeed, the organization isn’t stepping away, just rebuilding.
Here are some of the team’s achievements from this past year:
- 5-6th @ IEM XVI Winter: European Qualifier
- 5th @ IEM XVI Fall: CIS
- 17-20th @ ESL Pro League Season 14
- 13-16th @ IEM XVI Cologne
Looking at these results, it’s understandable why change is coming. Accordingly, the roster seems to be struggling to hold its own on an international stage – which is the most important one. Otherwise, they’re also struggling in the CIS region too.
While we know the roster will be swept after DreamHack November, we’re not sure when the new one will be made public.
