cs_summit 6 has been going for almost a week now and we’ve arrived in the second stage of playoffs. During this one week we’ve already seen some major upsets happening during the group stage. Some being the following: G2 losing versus both Godsent and Fnatic in Group A, FaZe losing twice to BIG resulting in them getting 3rd place in groups, and Mousesports getting completely annihilated in Group A by Fnatic and Godsent as well
Upsets aside, we’ve seen a couple of great matches, especially from OG and Team Vitality, both grabbing 1st in their groups respectively. The action continues today with the Upper Bracket Semi-Final and the 1st round of the Lower Bracket. In the Semifinals we have some pretty exciting matches, as Team Vitality will be taking on OG, and Fnatic will be facing off BIG in a best of 3.
Europe has definitely undergone some changes with regards to which teams are dominating the scene right now, and we have online CS to blame for that, however this means new teams are getting the spotlight as they win multiple events.
