The International 2022 Beastcoast – Plenty Room
How do we know already? Well, this past weekend saw the Group Stage concluding for PGL Arlington. Specifically, the 17 teams were sorted into two groups – only the top 6 progressing to the Playoffs.
Accordingly, in Group B beascoast managed to edge out Natus Vincere. By making it to the Playoffs, together with an impressive season, they’ve earned enough Dota Pro Circuit points to qualify for TI!
For those unaware, here’s a brief look at this roster below:
- Hector “K1″ Antonio Rodriguez Asto
- Kean “ Chris Luck” Perre Gonzales Salazar
- Adrian “Wisper” Cespedes Dobles
- Elvis “Scofield” Joel Da la Cruz Pena
- Steven “Stinger” Vargas Mamani
As we’ll elaborate below, beastcoast have had a very strong season after placing 13-16th at last year’s TI:
- 3rd @ DPC SA Tour 1
- 2nd @ DPC SA Tour 2
- 5-6th @ ESL One Stockholm 2022
- 2nd @ DPC SA Tour 3
As one of the top teams from South America, we can’t wait to see how they perform at TI later this year!
