What’s cooler than a World Cup? Indeed, the Arena of Valor World Cup looks to be awesome, with the top 16 teams in the world competing in an online format. Taking place in early summer, we’re excited for more details on this awesome event.

This will also precede the 2021 World Champion Cup we’re also excited for!

6. Overwatch League 2021 Playoffs – Overwatch

Meanwhile, there’s a buzz in competitive Overwatch for the end of the season. Also, what else can you expect for the end of the season. Specifically, the Play-Ins will take place in August, while the Playoffs will happen in September.

Over here, the majority of the $4,250,000 will be spread out with the competitors.

5. PUBG Continental Series 4 – PUBG

To be held across 4 massive regions: Asia, Europe, Americas and APAC, this looks to be an awesome event. Indeed, I’d consider this an opportunity within the Esports Events Summer 2021 time period for PUBG to leave an impact on the world like it did at the PUBG Global Invitational.S 2021.

Taking place in June, each region will throw $250,000 on the line for the top 16 teams!

Indeed, moving further up in our Esports Events Summer 2021 list is Call of Duty. Specifically, the main event of the year is planned for the very end of summer. With $2,500,000 on the line, it looks to be an awesome event for the top 8 franchised teams in the world.

2. The International 10 – DOTA 2

The pressure is on for The International 10. Why? For those unaware, last year Valve announced the unfortunate cancellation of the biggest event of the year, postponing it to this year.

Heading into this year, a record-breaking prize pool of $40,018,195 for the top 18 teams in the world. Specifically, the event will be held in Stockholm, running from August 5-15th – it looks to be an incredible event compensating for missing out on last year!

1. Worlds 2021 – League of Legends

Is this really a surprise for anybody? Indeed, after hosting one of the best esports events in the world last year, the narrative continues heading into this year. All we know so far is that it will be held in Shenzhen, China, and once again reuniting the entire world with a love for competitive League of Legends.

Specifically, after last year, the ceiling for this event has only grown higher and that’s only justified. Otherwise, we’re certain the event will be held mid-late summer this year.
