Popular French organisation TrainHard eSport has announced that the org is shutting down. Here is their announcement:
TrainHard eSport Shutting down – Why?
As mentioned in the statement above, the main reason for their departure is due to economical reasons. They have not disclosed the exact details, but we can expect that it was because of the org not receiving substantial income from the prize pools.
Whatโs weird is that they announced the shutting down of their operations just hours before their RainbowSix match in the European League. On the 28th of June, the team was scheduled to take on Natus Vincere and it wasnโt made public if they would be able to participate in the match due to being ex-TrainHard.
However, the team was then allowed to take part, but unfortunately they were taken down 7-2 by the NAVI lineup. ex-TrainHard is currently ranked at 8th in the Stage 2 of the European League, and theyโve got plenty more games to play out.
What now?
Before their announcement, TrainHard eSport had teams in RainbowSix, Fortnite, Rocket League, as well as Call of Duty. Now due to this disband, these teams are left homeless, with no idea whatโs coming for them. Hopefully these talented players manage to find a new home and a welcoming team for the future.
