Yesterday, Riot Games released their Year One Anthem video. In the video, they hinted out details as to where the VALORANT Champions event will be hosted, and apparently, its taking place in Los Angeles for 2021. Here below is the video:
VALORANT Champions taking place in Los Angeles – Details
According to FionnOnFire, writer for Upcomer, the VALORANT Champions event is being held at Los Angeles at the Staples Centre. This isn’t the first time that Riot Games would be involved with an event hosted at Los Angeles. In fact, the 2012, 2013 and 2016 League of Legends World Championships took place there. Unfortunately not much is known with regards to if fans will be allowed to spectate the event. But we can expect an announcement from Riot real soon.
What do we know about VALORANT Champions?
At the moment, little known about VALORANT’s biggest event yet. What we know so far is that there are going to be 16 of the best teams around the world fighting for the largest prize pool. Fortunately, one of these teams is already confirmed, and that team is Sentinels as they have just come from a victory at Masters 2. That win got them to 500 total points and qualified them to the big event. Other regions are close to having teams qualify, but we’ll know more once Masters 3 is around the corner.
