So, with our 16 teams ready and qualified, it was up to Riot Games to finally sort them into Groups for the first stage of the event kicking off on December 1st. Take a look at the results below:
- A Group – Acend, Team Envy, Vivo Keyd, X10 Esports
- B Group – Sentinels, Team Liquid, FURIA, KRU Esports
- C Group – Gambit, Crazy Raccoon, Team Secret, Team Vikings
- D Group – Vision Strikers, Fnatic, Cloud9, Full Sense
So, how will the format work? Accordingly, we’re sticking to the same format as VCT Masters 3 Berlin. Each group will compete in a GSL, double-elimination group stage in order to sort out the top 2 teams.
Accordingly, only two teams from each group will progress to the single-elimination playoff bracket!
We’ll be providing all of the viewership details as we get closer to the event.
