Following the game-changing 4.04 patch, Riot Games has stepped back on some changes to VALORANT. Accordingly, in a new 4.05 patch, there’s some balancing going on. Read on as we highlight the changes in the VALORANT Patch 4.05!
VALORANT Patch 4.05 – An Expected Change
Indeed, the greatest effect of Patch 4.04 was the overhauling of the Controller meta. By nerfing the likes of Astra, Omen and Brimstone rose to the limelight once again.
However, changes are here, exclusively to nerf one specific ability fo Brimstone causing problems:
- Brimstone Stim Beacon: Charges reduced to 1 from 2, Price increased to 200 from 100
This should definitely fix the ‘run and gun’ effect of this ability, affecting professional play too.
In addition, there are some addition changes to bear in mind to improve the general experience:
- Crosshair changes – made it easier to export and import settings to perfect everything
- New Settings for Weapon Selection/Prioritize Strongest Weapon and so on
- Competitive updates: Deterministic Map System to allow for better Map Variation when playing online
- Bug fixes
These are great changes to accomodate the highest level of play.
Riot Games also has multiple fixes for the changes implemented on the map Icebox, which looks to come in the next patch.
