In their blogpost regarding The International, Valve do not mention much. However, they do state that the premier event is back on the agenda, and they’re planning for it to take place in Stockholm, Sweden. Valve confirm TI10 to be held in August with 40M Prize Pool
As you may know, The International, renowned for its large prize pools and competitive atmosphere. This time round for the 10th edition of the TI, the prize pool is increasing by approximately $6,000,000 totalling up to $40,018,195.
Schedule
Valve have stated that the event will kick off on August 5th, starting with the group stage. The group stage will play out for 3 straight days till the 8th, and after a 2 day break, the main event starts. The main event will play out between the 10th and 15th of August, and on the last day, the Grand Finals will take place.
