VCS Winter Split – Making Up for Worlds
So, here’s what we know about the VCS 2021 Winter Split so far:
- Dates: November 16th – December 31st
- Participants: GAAM Esports, Saigon Buffalo, Team Secret, CERBERUS Esports, SBTC Esports, Team Flash, Burst the Sky Esports and Luxury Esports
- Format: Double Round Robin Format, Six Days a Week
It’s definitely great to see Riot Games make up for the abscence of the Vietnamese teams from international events. Indeed, this happened at Worlds 2021 due to the struggles to acquire transport to Europe in this weird global situation.
As you can see from the dates, the Winter Season will kick off 10 days after the Worlds 2021 event has concluded.
Accordingly, this is great for the entire community as this should keep the action going even after the supposed post-season is complete.
