With the VCT Stage 2 Regional events kicking off, teams want to know what they’e playing for. Indeed, Riot Games has just officially revealed plans for the upcoming VCT 2022 Events. Accordingly, read on as we provide a brief summary below!
VCT 2022 Events – Keeping it Offline
So, let’s start with Stage 2 Challengers as the first part of the press release by Riot Games.
In terms of details, the Stage 2 Masters event will take place in Copenhagen, Denmark. Specifically, the event will run from July 10-24. Also, details with regards to seeding is as follows:
- North America – 2 seeds
- Brazil/LATAM – 3 seeds
- EMEA – 3 seeds
- Korea – 1 seed
- APAC – 2 seeds
- Japan – 1 seed
And then, there’s the VALORANT Champions event.
Aimed at being the top event of the year, the global competition is heading to Istanbul. Here, the top 16 teams in the world will perform from September 2-18th.
To make it here, 10 will qualify in the regular season, and six via Last Chance Qualifiers.
