VCT Gambit Roster 2022 – Letting Players Compete
Indeed, VCT EMEA has already been affected by the situation. Specifically, Week 3 was postponed and no matches took place for a week while Riot Games figured out what to do.
With other organizers taking certain measures, Riot Games is not allowing Russian organizations to compete. However, there are exceptions. Indeed, individuals can compete.
Bearing this in mind, Gambit is changing for the event. Notably, the following players will be playing under a new name of ‘M3 Champions’ independent of the organization:
- Timofey “Chronicle” Khromov
- Nikita “d3ffo” Sudakov
- Bogdan “Sheydos” Naumov
- Ayaz “nAts” Akhmetshin
- Igor “Redgar” Vlasov
And yes, everyone knows who these players are – some of the best in the world. Considering their record, we’re glad to see that they won’t be missing out on the event:
- 3rd @ VALORANT Champions 2021
- 1st @ VCT Stage 3 Masters Berlin
- 1st @ VCT 2021 EMEA Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs
