With regards to maps, the changes that were introduced were mostly bug fixes and increasing lighting to certain areas, however Vertigo has gotten quite the new look. A site has remained fairly similar to what it was before, although as for everything else…Well it’s quite different. Here’s a quick tour of Vertigo with its recent changes: https://twitter.com/ItsRandall26/status/1250944268677545984?s=20
The Desert Eagle received a buff on the previous update which increased the accuracy it had whilst someone was jumping. The community did not like this at all and CS:GO realised how broken it was to have very accurate jumping deagle headshots, while running around the map. In order to fix this, they bumped up the inaccuracy jump apex to 331.55.
In this patch you can now view and use other player’s crosshairs while spectating them. This feature has been indubitably inspired by Valorant’s crosshair viewing feature which everyone loved.
Lastly, one of the most unexpected updates that was in today’s patch notes is that during warmup of a wingman match being played on either Train and Vertigo, players will be dueling each other in a 1v1 area hidden somewhere around the map. Wingman is a good testing ground for something as experimental as this so props to the developers for always keeping CS:GO as fresh as possible with these interesting updates!
