As competitive Rainbow Six Siege continues to grow and develop, maintaining its newly stated Tier 1 status as an esport, larger organizations are beginning to stick their fingers in the pie. Very recently, Virtus Pro has joined the scene with an exciting signing of the ex-forZe eSports roster.
Well-known for their involvement in CS:GO, R6S becomes their fifth entry as an esports organization, and it looks promising. The forZe roster has a reputable presence as a strong contender, with good Qualifier results and Challenger League placings, failing to really make an impact on the highest level of R6S although consistently being there. Virtus Pro looks to take them there while also providing content to showcase the new team, as listed below:
- Artem “Shokwave” Simakov
- Artem “wTg” Morozov
- Alan “Rask” Ali
- Pavel “p4sh4” Kosenko
- Pavel ” Amision” Chebatkov
- Kerim “Toda” Musaev (coach)
- Andrey “Andreezy” Bavian (analyst)
“We have watched the discipline development for a long time and looked at existing rosters from different regions. Finally, we settled on forZe eSports players: we had a mutual interest with the players, and the organization was ready to conclude a transfer deal.
We have signed long-term contracts and intend to play with the good perspectives in this field. Virtus.pro we are happy to welcome the fans of Rainbow Six Siege and will do our best to please you with victories and great content in the coming seasons.”
– Sergey Glamazda, Virtus Pro GM
As everyone grows anxious to observe the team at the Russian Major League Season 4 (May 23-24), it would surprise me if more international organization begin to recognize competitive Rainbow Six Siege as an attractive investment.
