Heading into Day 4, Worlds 2020 has enjoyed four days straight of gameplay. With a two day break on the horizon, teams are determined to end the first half of the Group Stage on a good note. Here at esportsguide, we’re continuing our daily coverage – here’s a Day 4 Recap!
To reiterate, this is roughly the halfway point for the Group Stage. However, not every group has gone through a complete round robin. Indeed, the double round-robin still has a tonne of competition left. As a reminder, only the top two teams will be progressing through the competition while the bottom two will be eliminated. Without a doubt, there’s a tonne to play for.

Highlight of the Day
Day 4 saw another blow for the LCK as Fnatic managed to topple Gen.G’s winning streak. However, meanwhile in Group A, our highlight of the day took place.
Indeed, Team Liquid managed to pull out a win against G2 Esports. Such an incredible win will prove to be crucial to Team Liquid’s chances at the event. By doing so, doubt has been thrown over G2 Esports and Group A is now the most contested group of the Group Stage.
Now all teams will enjoy a two day break, filled with thought and preparation for the upcoming days of games.
