Today is the day. Indeed, the largest LoL esports event of the year has kicked off with a Play-In stage. However, the Worlds 2022 Main Stage is the centre piece. Considering this, Riot have already revealed the schedule for Day 1 of the Main Stage!
Worlds 2022 Main Stage – Ready to Go
Accordingly, Worlds is an epic story. Kicking off with the Play-In, these 12 teams are hoping to earn the 4 seeds to the Main Stage Group Stage.
Currently, high seeded teams wait in the Main Stage Group Stage, in the following groups:
- A – Cloud9, EDward Gaming, T1, TBD
- B – DAMWON Gaming, G2 Esports, JD Gaming, TBD
- C – GAM Esports, Rogue, Top Esports, TBD
- D – 100 Thieves, CTBC Flying Obster, Gen.G Esports, TBD
Bearing this in mind, here’s the schedule for Main Stage Groups Day 1, 7th October starting 5pm (EDT):
- 01 – Cloud9 vs TBD
- 02 – G2 Esports vs DWG KIA
- 03 – CTBC Flying Oyster vs 100 Thieves
- 04 – Jingdong Gaming vs TBD
- 05 – T1 vs EDward Gaming
- 06 – Gen.G vs TBD
Do note that all matches are BO1, and teams will be hoping to progress to the Knockout Stage.
Naturally for now, all eyes are on the Play-In.
