Yesterday, in the first quarterfinals, the likes of JD Gaming and Rogue went head-to-head. Here, the Chinese favourites took down the only non-Korean and non-Chinese team.

Later on tonight, we have a battle of the heavyweights. Specifically, two of the best teams from two of the top regions will be facing one another – T1 vs Royal Never Give Up.

Taking place at 14:00 in the PST region later on today, this quarterfinal will be much closer than yesterday’s.

Both T1 and RNG are walking away from the Group Stage with an impressive 5-1 record.

Also, these teams already faced off in the Grand Finals of the Mid-Seasonal Invitation earlier this year, where RNG managed to win with a score of 3-2.

Bearing this in mind, together with the fact that these two teams have had impressive seasons, this is possibly the most contested quarterfinal out of them all.
