After the Day 1 action, here’s how the groups in the Play-In look like right now:
Group A:

- Chief Esports Club (0-1)

Group B:
- MAD Lions (2-0)
- DRX (1-0)
- Saigon Buffalo (1-0)
- Isurus (0-1)
- Royal Never Give Up (0-1)

Two main talking points are as follows. Firstly, the European teams are leading both groups. Meanwhile, RNG, a favourite from LPL surprisingly lost to another favourite, DRX from Korea.
