XSET have announced that they are adding Dephh as their 5th for their VALORANT roster. Here is their announcement:
XSET adding Dephh as 5th for VALORANT – Who is he?
29-year-old Rory “Dephh” Jackson is a professional VALORANT player from the United Kingdom. He started his career in July of 2020 with the Homeless squad. Later on, after a couple of solid results the team was picked up by North American org Dignitas. Unfortunately the team wasn’t very successful and Dephh left the team on the 31st of March. Now he is looking toward a chance at redemption to continue his FPS career with XSET.
Here are some of Dephh’s best achievements in VALORANT so far:
- 4th in Pop Flash event – 30th August 2020 – $5,000
- 4th at T1 x Nerd Street Gamer Showdown – 28th June 2020 – $5,000
- 2nd in Pittsburgh Knights Before Christmas – $3,000
- 3rd-4th at PAX Arena Invitational – 25th July 2020 – $3,000
Why?
It’s no secret that XSET have been struggling ever since they entered the esport. Their best result so far was ironically very recent, as they placed 2nd in the VCT 2021 NA Stage 2 Challengers 1. Now with Dephh the team looks to improve and get more consistent results.
This is how the new XSET lineup looks like:
