It has been made public that former G2 Esports player Zeek is joining Acend for VALORANT. Here is their announcement:
Zeek joining Acend VALORANT – Who is he?
19-year-old Aleksander “zeek” Zygmunt is a VALORANT player from Poland. He started his VALORANT career with team ‘THOSE GUYS’ and then moved on to play for the European Nolpenki squad. After such great performances, he was then offered a position on the G2 Esports lineup after they parted ways with Davidp. Initially the plans were to transform him into a solid in-game leader, but it seems like that plan did not work out. Now he’s looking to continue his VALORANT career with his new teammates over at Acend Club.
Here are some of Zeek’s best achievements on VALORANT so far:
- 1st at Red Bull Home Ground – 31st January 2021 – $13,705
- 5th-8th at First Strike Europe – 4th December 2020 – $5,000
- 1st in Polish Invitational 5v5 – 31st August 2020 – $2,715
What’s next?
Acend were the first European champions during the Stage 1 Masters event. Unfortunately their success was not replicated in the second stage of the VCT. Now hopefully with this change the team can continue to improve and hopefully reach the Stage 3 Masters in Berlin.
